Born in Hebei in 1936 and trained by Beijing masters like Luo Xingwu, Ge Chun Yan, and Qiu Zhihe, Liu Jing Ru has earned multiple national titles, including gold medals at Beijing and Nanning. Master Liu is a 9th Duan in Chinese Martial Arts, National-Level Intangible Cultural Heritage Bagua Zhang Inheritor.

From establishing one of China’s first martial academies post–Cultural Revolution to coaching champions and teaching seminars across Europe, the Americas, Japan, and Australia — Liu’s influence stretches far beyond China.
